Shelly Ravid – Livin’ Large EP

‘Livin Large’ is the new release from the London based artist Shelly Ravid. With a classic reggae sound, the EP is the perfect soundtrack for your summer memories with a chilled vibe and effortless vocals from Ravid. The release, which consists of five tracks comments on the current state of political affairs, the road to success as well as love and loss. Ravid is definitely one to watch with her clear political message and upbeat sound.

Jonas Blue – We Could Go Back feat. Moelogo (Acoustic)

Jonas Blue has stripped back and simplified his latest single ‘We Could Go Back’ in an acoustic, raw studio session. Complimented by the angelic vocals of Moelogo, who gives the track an extra slice of soul, the producer and DJ has captured a track which is sure to be chart gold. With the original version of ‘We Could Go Back’ surpassing nine million streams on Spotify and after earning two BRIT award nominations, Jonas Blue’s star will continue to rise.

Angus & Julia Stone – Cellar Door

After announcing tour dates across North America, the Aussie sibling duo Angus & Julia Stone have premiered the video for the track ‘Cellar Door’, taken from their new album Snow. The hazy video captures the very essence of a laidback summer, with images of friends frolicking under the blissful sun. Give this video a watch to lift you out of your winter blues.

J HUS – Bouff Daddy

J HUS is the man with something important to say right now and his latest visual for the track ‘Bouff Daddy’ is no exception. Rapping about ‘the life of a misfit’ and his newly found wealth and success, the video compliments the track with its blend of Grime, Dancehall and R&B.

EDEN – Gold

80s synths, a smooth vocal hook and the soft, angelic sound of an acoustic guitar, ‘Gold’ by the 21 year old vocalist EDEN is the perfect track for a chilled night in. The new release follows his debut EP ‘End Credits’ which received widespread acclaim back in 2015.

Kid Bookie – Hey

The South East London rapper, Kid Bookie has released the visual for his new release ‘Hey’, and it is everything you would expect and more from the raw talent. Feisty and outspoken, Kid Bookie is still one to watch after first stepping onto the scene back in 2009 with his debut mixtape ‘In the Making’.

NULA – Control

After featuring on Demur Decks last week with the track ‘Mutual’, we just had to add another NULA record to this weeks’ selection. The new release ‘Control’ remains reminiscent to the duo’s 90s R&B sound and smooth, soulful vocals.

Tom Misch – Movie

Tom Misch has dropped the visual for the track ‘Movie’, from his forthcoming album ‘Geography’. Set for release on April 6 next year, via his own label Beyond the Groove/ Kobalt Music Recordings, the ode to love features guest vocals by his sister Polly Misch. The visual also features black and white home movies of Misch’s grandparents from the 1940s. The track is blissfully soulful and the family themed release reflects his talent as a true and thoughtful artist.
