Matty Carter and Ariel – Ready to Die

Here is the latest single from up and coming duo Matty Carter and Ariel. Following the successes of their last single ‘Voices’ they’ve returned with a grungier track focused on the threat we live in at the moment and the need for people to begin to seize the day. With such a relevant focus its no doubt this track is likely to be a success.

Kalli Ma – High Shot

‘High Shot’ is all out fun. Focused on around a heavy bass line, the post-punk duo, Kalli Ma added elements of both techno and electronic to create something brilliant. It’s the kind of track that you just don’t want to end in a club, it has everything you need for a banging night out and we’re sure you’ll be hearing it soon on the dance floor.

Jerry Williams – Velcro

This song is like ‘Velcro’ to me at the moment – I’m hooked. Williams has an enchanting voice, its so innocent and soft and her lyricism is beautifully poignant. This track will certainly be added to a few playlists as autumn gets colder and the melancholic music comes back around.

Jules Rendell – Old Friend (Official Video)

The video for ‘Old Friend’ is finally here and we love it. Done in a split narrative we have Rendell singing herself showing the emotion she has for the song as well as the storyline played by two men on the journey from friendship to exile and reconciliation. The tale of this video is the perfect fit for the structure of the song.

Ailbhe Reddy – The Tube

Here is one of the latest tracks from rising Irish star Ailbhe Reddy. Having had an incredibly successful summer being featured on all the major festival lineups, she released this track earlier this month. ‘The Tube’ is beautiful, playful and youthful both in music and lyrics.

Digitalism – Jet

I wasn’t sure where this track was going when I first heard it, but then it got there and it was clear. It’s a slow building track that has a dance vibe that will get you hyped whether you’re at the pre-party, in the club or the cab home. It has enticing breakdowns that will make you want to listen to the whole 6 minutes.

Hudson Taylor – Feel it Again (Acoustic Cover)

This is HudsonTaylor’s first track in two years, and they’re back with a bang. Already hugely successful in Ireland sitting at No.1 in the singer-songwriter charts, we think its time they blow up here. ‘Feel It Again’ is the kind of song that will, without a doubt have you singing at the top of your voice along with the radio.

Chloë Howl – Do It Alone

Set over an electronic vibe Howl has brought in elements of soul and 90’s pop to this brilliant new track. This one is all about being ‘the other woman’ and the unwritten rules of the girl-code. At this point you’re probably nodding in recognition as to what that means, if not, click play and let her explain it all.
