Manast LL’ – Herizen Gaurdiola ft. Ceddy and Indica
Manst LL’ always pushes to put a positive spin on his music regardless of what he raps about and he definitely delivers the same with this single. Written about the beauty of Herizen Gaurdiola, the young budding actress who appears in the Netflix series ‘The Get Down’, this song gives nothing but feel good vibes. Speaking on the track, Manast says; ” I think she’s really talented I just had to do a tribute track about her. I had this beat by Kepo sleeping on my laptop since 3 or 4 months and I’d already made some demos with it but I wasn’t satisfied with the results and the moods. Then I started to watch the TV show and I immediately looked back on that wavy summer beat, and felt like I just needed to bounce on the 808s like a surfer would bounce on his waves.”
FACE – Imagination
This debut single is everything you imagine when you think of British pop. This Glaswegian band, now signed to Stuart Price’s Warners-affiliated label AOA (The Killers), have the power of pop and the soft northern voice to make their music a must listen. Lead vocalist David says of the track: “‘Imagination’ is a song about letting go in life. Being wild, rebelling against authority, following your dreams without fear, doing whatever you feel is right without a single hesitation to what people say or think about you. Step outside of that little everyday box that’s been created for you by people very much inside the box.”
