Kyla ft Popcaan – You Ain’t Mine

Kyla recently released new single ‘You Ain’t Mine’ featuring. Popcaan and it was only right that the songstress took us to Jamaica with the visuals. In the video, we see Kyla and Popcaan vibing out in Portland in the visuals directed by Lil Internet.

‘The song is about meeting a guy who you think is amazing but then shortly find out that he has a girl and that you are just a fling. Although he is falling in love with you, you have to move on and let him go, this is my second time working with Popcaan and it’s always a pleasure.’ If you didn’t manage to get away this summer let this video provide you with the summer vibes you missed out on.

IYKZ – Beano

With two successful singles under his belt this year already, ‘Clarity’ featuring Hayley Cassidy and Afrobeats-influenced single ‘They Know (Wan Mo)’ featuring Maleek Berry, IYKZ has unleashed the visuals to his latest single #Beano. We are hoping #Beano will follow in the footsteps of these two singles which collected over 300,000 streams on Spotify alone.

Speaking on the track produced by German Duo The Cratez, IYKZ says ‘The record is purely about my journey; I want people to know that I’ve been around and I’ve earned my stripes. I draw direct comparisons to Dennis The Menace with his red/black striped jumper and the old school comic BEANO which was one of my favourites growing up as a child in Hackney. ‘ You gotta love an artist who is not only talented but stays grinding. #Beano is a declaration of what is to come from IYKZ, and with the dark visuals accompanying the track, IYKZ is coming for whatever he is owed, so stay glued to your stereo.

White Fever – Everyone’s Got Their Price

Ahead of their EP release this Friday 29th September, White Fever have released the visuals to the second single to be taken from the ‘Concrete’ EP, ‘Everyone Got Their Price’. The ‘Concrete’ PE is a collection of stories about love: the tragic love story of a brother and a sister, nostalgia, loss, abandonment and the uncertainty of how to love oneself. ‘Everyone Got Their Price’ fits on to the EP perfectly as the band explain… ‘is the EP-closing track, concluding the collection with sparsely ethereal vocals preceding an upbeat, bass-driven chorus. While the song explores the voyeuristic frustration of watching other people living lives seemingly better than our own, it celebrates the defiance in recognising that whatever you have is at least yours and no one else’s.’ The band’s talents are not just limited to making the music, the gang also directed the visuals to their latest release.

Daniella Mason – Cruel Summer

Dubbed as ‘a serious musician with a distinctly pop edge,’ Daniella Mason has written for the likes of Nick Jonas, toured with Demi Lovato and opened for DNCE. They say turn your wounds into wisdom, well Daniella took those words and turned the second single from her upcoming album, into a powerful girl power video for the single ‘Cruel Summer’.

Speaking on how the video came about, Daniella said, “This summer has been hard for me just because I’ve been taking on a whole new season in my career and life and doing a lot of it by myself… but the amazing part is, I’ve really had to rely and lean on the incredible women in my life in a new way. The director, Bree, and I dreamt of having an all-female cast and crew on set for this video, and because I’m surrounded by wonderful, talented, and generous women, we were able to make our dream come true. It was basically just me hanging out and making art with my gal pals all day, and I couldn’t ask for a better situation to cheer me up and make me feel more powerful and supported.” Daniella’s self-titled album is out on Friday 13th October and this will mark her first full-length release.

Fusion – For The Crime

Ensuring the Grime scene stays dirty and heavy laden with filthy good tunes, Fusion releases ‘For The Crime’ with a strong, lyrically witty message, to the police, Grime scene and anyone who is brave enough to doubt him. ‘For The Crime’ seems to be a taster of what is to come from the critically acclaimed artists’ 5 track EP ‘Ready’.

We first saw Fusion on the Lord Of The Mics 10th Anniversary compilation and this was followed by his appearance on various ‘Ones To Watch’ lists amongst the likes of Stefflon Don and Mist. With the success of the former, those lists couldn’t have been far off, as we can already see Fusion closing 2017 with a bang. The visuals for the track appear modest with a nostalgic vibe as we see Fusion and his mate jamming in an old school BMW 3 series.

Gizmo Varillas – Hold On

He made it onto George Ezra’s ‘New Artist To Watch’ playlist, he has just returned from playing at the world renowned Montreal Jazz Festival and has just confirmed his debut London show at Servant Jazz Quarters as well as Reeperbahn. What else is there left for Gizmo Varillas to achieve this year? Gizmo Varillas, the Spanish born and London-based singer/songwriter has released the fifth single from his debut album ‘El Dorado’. The track titled ‘Hold On’ is another track which Gizmo has arranged and produced himself as well as played every instrument. Ohh did we mention THE Yoko Ono is a fan?

Roxxxan – Crud

She wants P’s she wants stacks and she is back like she never left. We were so thrilled when we saw ‘Crud’ the new release from Roxxxan, the London via Birmingham MC. You may have seen the ‘Back To Live’ documentary released by Roxxxan last year, documenting the difficulties she went through including the time she spent living in a hostel and her place being raided by police. After all that we are delighted to see Roxxxan triumph and return with ‘Crud’, reminding us of her unchallenged flow and passion for the art that is spitting on this Mikey J produced beat.
