Your latest EP is titled ‘Nothing Left To Lose’. What is the one song, by another artist, that sums up the whole EP?
It’s difficult to choose 1 song, but I would say a medley of Jimi Hendrix ‘Hey Joe’, Tame Impala – ‘Alter Ego’, The Black Keys – ‘Lonely Boy’ and the song ending with mellow outro Aretha Franklin – ‘You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman.’
In honour of Women’s History Month, what is your favourite anthem about female solidarity?
Aretha Franklin – ‘Respect’
What is your go-to karaoke song?
Pink Floyd – ‘Another Brick In The Wall’ (I tend to pick songs that will make my friends and I giggle. :))
You have a special love for the 60s and 70s, what song from that era do you wish you could have made?
Marvin Gaye – ‘Inner City Blues’ (Make Me Wanna Holler)
If you could invite one female artist to your curated night ‘Lady’ who would it be and what song would you like them to perform?
Janelle Monae and the song would be ‘Tightrope’.
