Let’s all go al-desko!

We all have our reasons for dining at our desk during our lunch break. Critics may disagree and have a long list of health hazards, but we haven’t started to notice the damage yet, so why change what seems to be an unharmful habit? Eating at your desk is not a bad thing it’s just the way society has adapted to our new system of work. We have come to embrace the eating al-desko trend!

Let’s just talk about the weather for a moment. It is cold right now in England. No one wants to be leaving their desks to go and get food, as much of a necessity as food may be. With food at the end of our fingertips, for those of us with smartphones or internet access (everyone), we can easily have food delivered directly to our desks during the lunch hour break. Meaning you don’t have to go out in the cold, join that long que of everyone else who is waiting for that Quinoa salad, that lamb burger or the pigeon and crab soup, whatever delicacy you are into.

Buddha Bar have come to our aid and launched their food delivery service. When you order from Buddha Bar’s authentic Asian inspired menu, you can bring exotic aromas right to your desk. Probably better than that soggy sandwich that is too cold because it has been at the back of the tiny office fridge all morning. You can order from Buddha Bar using Uber Eat and Deliveroo. If you are within a five-mile radius of their Knightsbridge restaurant, you can get your grub delivered for free.

If you are feeling a bit prestige and wish to treat yourself to a taste of luxury, Forman & Field can deliver to you, restaurant quality starters, main courses and desserts made with the best of fresh British produce. Forman & Field are also proud to be the only luxury food service to deliver artisan food to locations nationwide directly from their family run H. Forman & Son kitchen.

So as the lunch hour approaches all you have to worry about now, is what time do you want your lunch delivered. Also just because you are working from home it doesn’t mean you don’t deserve a good lunch. Let’s all go al-desko!
