Chasity is a designer based in Houston, U.S and started her business in 2009 with the inspiration from the late Alexander McQueen. Her brand is known for non-traditional wedding gowns, formal gowns and prom dresses. As a self-taught designer, she creates all her own designs by hand, her first creative idea being a sweet sixteen tutu dress which she formed with inspiration from colourful celebrities gowns. Chasity creates many custom design pieces in her studio, as well as ready to wear gowns that are available to order online.
Growing up in a rural location, beginning at a one-room, eight student school, with the pressures of a grandfather expressing “marry rich to successful”, what can you do? Prove them wrong. Angela Lee was determined to make it on her own. She started with a $20 sewing machine and no industry connections, and today she’s the owner and creator of the company SHOLDIT. Sold by top retails in the U.S, SHOLDIT sells scarfs for all ages and gender to use as a pocket, keeping your belongings safe from your passport, phone and keys.
Graduating from Sichuan Fine Art Institute with the master’s degree in Fashion Design he went on to creating the brand LU YANG in 2013. His clothing design concept is minimalism, with the pursuit of functionality and aesthetics. His materials are sourced and manufactured in China and have been featured in Shanghai Fashion Week.
Designer Martha majored in English and minored in French at the University of the South: Sewanee. When her dreams of starting a fashion line came crashing down due to an automobile accident, after a miraculous recovery she knew she had to pursue her dream. Her brand Neubyrne’s first major clothing collection drew inspiration from travels all across the globe. Neubyrne translates to ‘new you’ a key meaning to the brand.
Gina La Morte is a Celebrity Fashion Stylist turned Fashion Activist who wanted to use her fashion experience for good by helping women and children get saved and transformed out of the human trafficking trade. She is known for her design esthetic of modern bohemianism. Her first fashion collection, TRADE by Gina La Morte founded in January 2017, is a portrayal of her socially conscious story, combining her passion for giving back, with her love of styling. She has translated her handbag designs into what real woman want; to make a difference in the world and remain stylish while doing it.
Cheryl Eve Acosta designs sculptural jewellery that is inspired by the Cycle of Life, providing a modern and innovative quality to those seeking to express their unique and venturous spirit. Her French and Caribbean backgrounds have inspired her appreciation for coastal life and contemporary fashion, which has been incorporated into her intricate designs. Cheryl has earned her MFA in Jewellery & Metals from the Rhode Island School of Design and more recently received a CAD/CAM Certificate and scholarship from the Gemology Institute of America (GIA) in NYC to enable her to expand her designs and production skills.
Kris Wu based his brand W.reflex on his life style, inputting more concept to this brand through story-telling, raw materials and more Asian friendly cutting, from inside to outside. The brand founded in Shanghai in 2016, demonstrates a man’s style and true self-attitude to a quality life experience. His clothing designs integrate minimalist styles with the western style of natural relaxation.
