London Fashion Week is officially back this week in its main character era. Following a revitalizing SS26 season under the British Fashion Council’s new CEO, Laura Weir, the capital has shed its struggling sibling reputation in favour of something leaner, louder, and significantly more accessible.
By scrapping restrictive fees and doubling down on international press invites, Weir has ensured that AW26 isn’t just a trade show, it’s a cultural takeover. From bleep-test runways to 3:00 AM martinis, here is your definitive guide to the season ahead.
The week kicks off with the raw, unfiltered energy of the Central Saint Martins MA show. Expect the usual broke but brilliant bravado that defines London’s talent pipeline.
The multi-hyphenate artist, Selasi by Ronan Mckenzie is taking over a Bloomsbury sports hall for a bleep test inspired catwalk. It’s high concept, high stakes, and easily the most anticipated debut.
Liza Keane, a favourite of Julia Fox, Keane makes her official schedule debut, bringing her signature gritty-glamour to the mix. The Fashion East incubator remains a wildcard, with a “confidential” recruit joining the ranks of Louis Mayhew and Jacek Gleba.
While the new talent provides the spark, the establishment provides the heat. Chopova Lowena will stage its first-ever Autumn presentation, a massive milestone for the cult-favorite brand. Meanwhile, Burberry remains the anchor of the week, expected to close with another high-production spectacle that blends heritage with the London street scene.
London Fashion Week will run from Thursday 19th February to Monday 23rd February 2026.
