Beyoncé’s Lion King Salary Makes Her The King Pin of Business Deals

As Beyoncé graces the red carpet at Leicester Square for the long-awaited Lion King London premiere, we can’t help but wonder how much Beyoncé is getting paid. As we know Beyoncé doesn’t appreciate anyone interrupting her grinding and we also know Beyoncé grinds hard hence why she is always cashing in and is one of the highest paid women in entertainment.

Beyoncé took on the role of Nala in the Lion King remake amongst other actors such as Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, Eric Andre and Chance The Rapper. To provide the voice for one of the leading characters in the film, Beyoncé will reportedly earn closer to $25 million dollars making her one of the highest paid black actresses in history. Not bad considering acting is Beyoncé ’s part-time job. This salary also includes the royalties Beyonce will make from the royalties for the soundtrack.

Basically, Beyoncé is the Kingpin of business deals

One thing is for sure Beyoncé knows how to profit from all her skills. Let’s not forget how Beyoncé negotiated her Coachella deal to a cool $4 million and rights to her performance which she then used for her Netflix Documentary ‘Homecoming’. Netflix reportedly reached a $60 million deal with the iconic singer for three projects, ‘Homecoming’ being just one of them. Ohh and the live album she also released with the documentary which is now earning her some streaming dollars.

What about the time Beyoncé got paid in equity, a $6 million dollars in stock value to perform at a corporate Uber event in Las Vegas. Turns out that stock value is now worth a whole $300 million dollars.

So what can we learn from Beyoncé when making business deals? Know your worth, own yourself and get as much as you can from each deal.

Lion King premieres in London on Sunday 14th July in Leicester Square and is released in the cinemas on Friday 19th  July.
