Black Josh Drops Menacing New Single ‘Get Meh’

Cult Manchester rapper Black Josh has unveiled his new single ‘Get Meh’.

Underpinned by a cold, percussion-driven production, ‘Get Meh’ channels menacing, paranoid energy as Josh snarls his way through urgent, angst-laden bars. It follows slick recent single ‘The Birds’, with both tracks set to feature on Josh’s new album ‘Heartbreak Hostel’, out 29th October. The 15-track LP will feature Tyler Daley, Cult Of The Damned, Lancey Fox, Shei, Kenzie TTH and Ian Leone amongst others.

One of the most electrifying British hip-hop artists to emerge in recent years, Black Josh continues to impress, shock and bemuse in equal measure. The self certified ‘Yung Sweg Lawd’ has been on it since early, forming rap crew APE CULT aged just 17, whilst also a member of rap-monolith Cult of The Damned and Manchester’s finest multi-faceted lyrical group LEVELZ. The northern scally has 5 solo albums under his belt already, and is as prolific as he is extraordinary, put superbly by tastemaking hip-hop title Offie, Josh’s art is glowingly described as “tongue-in-cheek and often emphatically delivered”.

‘Get Meh’ showcases an angsty, darker side of the Black Josh sound.
