Burberry Unveils Marcus Rashford Painting by Jazz Grant In Manchester

Luxury fashion house Burberry have teamed up with British collage artist Jazz Grant to create a giant mural wall painting dedicated to footballer Marcus Rashford. The mural features overlaying images of young and old Rashford, with displays of the classic Burberry check highlighting the footballers life and career.

The painting can be spotted on Thomas Street, which is located in Manchester’s Northern Quarter and will remain in the space until January 4. Speaking on the mural Grant said “It was all about creating something uplifting, positive and dynamic with a sense of community and supporting the youth,” says Grant. “I wanted it to feel really exciting but also to have subtle textures and tones, essences of its immediate surroundings, so that in a way it blended into its environment.”
