De La Soul Announces Pay-What-You-Want Concert in NYC

Iconic Hip-Hop Trio to Return to Lincoln Center in January

De La Soul is set to make their triumphant return to New York City with a pay-what-you-want concert at Lincoln Center in January 2025. The show will take place on January 17th at the Wu Tsai Theater in David Geffen Hall, marking their first performance in the city in over a year.

While the official on-sale date hasn’t been announced yet, tickets will be available through the Lincoln Center website. A suggested donation of $35 is listed on the event page, but patrons can choose to pay any amount they desire, with a minimum price of $5 for other events in the Choose-What-You-Pay series.

De La Soul’s last performance in New York City was a memorable one. NME praised their show at London’s Royal Albert Hall, calling it “an emotional, ecstatic love letter to De La Soul.” The concert came after the tragic passing of David “Trugoy The Dove” Jolicoeur in 2023.

The band’s return to Lincoln Center is sure to be a highly anticipated event for fans of hip-hop and music lovers alike. Don’t miss your chance to see one of the most influential groups in music history perform live.
