Jack Howard – Sunlight (VIDEO)

The gorgeous and insanely talented Jack Howard is back with this brilliant video for his latest track ‘Sunlight’ which we premiered right here on Demur, and it is everything we expected and more. Filmed in the early hours of sunlight on the famous Brighton beach, this talented musician who is quickly being labelled ‘one to watch in 2019’ proves exactly why he has gained this title and acclaim.

Pete Yorn – Calm Down

Produced by the acclaimed Jackson Phillips (Day Waves), this lovely little track has all the markers of a brilliant indie tune. With both the guitar and bass bouncing along, and the drums keeping your foot tapping, this tune screams the sound of summer; we love it!

Sonny Santos and Billie Marten – Swear 2 G-D (VIDEO)

This is the director, Christian Bravo’s comments on this beautiful new video, and it’s enough to make anyone want to watch it – “The video is just me and my girlfriend wandering around. I met her when I was on a flight back to Spain from NY and she was the flight attendant. We’ve fallen in love and I’ve been flying around the world to see her when I can and documenting the times on an old Super 8 camera my friend gave me”

Unperfect – I’m a Dreamer (VIDEO)

Bringing in the concept of a ‘dreamer’ and childhood ambition that is sung about in this brilliant track, the video features a young girl wishing to be both the artist and director. Quickly cutting to the same little girl directing the entire video and running the show, we love this little video and the important and powerful message of dreams and female empowerment.

Elio – Babyfool

This lovely first offering from Los Angeles based duo is an elegant, sophisticated and well mastered Indie-pop gem. Comprised of two incredibly talented artists, the ethereal yet predisposed poppy vocals bring the entire track neatly together while underpinned by subtle, catchy groove.

Violet Days – All I know (VIDEO)

This project is made up of Swedish singer-songwriter Lina Hansson and producer Kris Eriksson delivering pure nostalgic vibes wrapped in bold, upbeat Pop tropes. This track gives a nod to the 60’s Hollywood era just as much as it does to 00’s rom-coms and the stylistic direction. All of this is of course intertwined with the amazingly catchy tune and lyrics that will be sure to stick in your head.
