Since Parisian DJ and producer Michael Calfan blessed us with his feel-good summer dancefloor anthem ‘Wild Game’, featuring the stunning vocals of British-Jamaican singer and songwriter Monique Lawz we have been pressing the replay button has become slightly unhinged. The revered DJ and producer holds an impressive back catalog of festival performances having played at some of the world’s biggest electronic festivals and events including Creamfields, Tomorrowland, Amsterdam’s ADE, whilst also performing at Ibiza parties such as David Guetta’s F*** Me I’m Famous at Pacha and Cream at Amnesia and Hï Ibiza. Who better to take over our Demur Decks this week than Michael Calfan.

This is a track I used to listen to when I was a teenager. It reminds me of all my youth years. I still listen to this track a lot.
Fatboy Slim – Praise You
I discovered this track from the movie “Sex Intentions” released during my teenage years and I still think this track is a banger!
Mr Oizo – Flat Beat
I used to watch a lot of MTV for music videos and this one directed by Quentin Dupieux was astonishing for me at the time. The combination music + image was amazing.
Daft Punk – Veridis Quo
The vibe of the song is very melancholic and I really love this kind of emotion in music.
Superfunk – Lucky Star
This is a house classic for me! This track has not aged.
