TAFETA is delighted to announce Ayesha Feisal | Transitions, the gallery’s first solo exhibition with British-Sierra Leonian artist Ayesha Feisal a member of the Black British Female Artist Collective. Opening on the 5th September, the exhibition will feature paintings from her current series, exploring transitions and the philosophy of inner transformation.

Originally set up as an art-consulting outfit in 2005, TAFETA was re-constituted as a gallery specializing in 20th century and Contemporary African Art in 2013. With a previous background in Financial Services, Ayo Adeyinka, the founder and director, advises and works on behalf of a number of important private and corporate collections of Modern and Contemporary African Art. Located in Fitzrovia, London, with a project space in Lagos, TAFETA remains the leading purveyors of some of the most important 20th century artists of African extraction (Ben Enwonwu MBE, Ablade Glover, Susanne Wenger, Muraina Oyelami et al.) Continually seeking out new talent in the contemporary space, TAFETA has also placed younger emerging artists in important private and institutional collections.
