Eyelar Drops Emotive New Single and Video For ‘Till You Hate Me’
Dutch-born London-based artist Eyelar has unveiled her cathartic and powerful new single ‘till you hate me’. Drenched in grungy distorted guitars and bursting with irresistible pop melodies, the rising artist showcases her expansive range with soft melancholic verses and an explosive chorus.
Speaking about the track Eyelar says: “I have always been pessimistic and scared of love and everytime I’m about to fall in love I think about how many relationships statistically fail. till you hate me is about the fear of letting someone know every part of you, not just the good parts but also the ugly parts. And hoping they will stay, but not knowing how on earth they would”
Influenced by artists including Madonna, Nirvana, Paramore and Oasis , Eyelar spent her younger years honing her song-writing skills. Upon moving to London, her talent was quickly discovered by the song-writing community and soon began working with some of the biggest artists on the scene including Bastille, Charli XCX, Little Mix, Camila Cabello, David Guetta, Demi Lovato and producer of the moment Fred Again.
Eyelar has established herself as the leader of a new wave of alt-pop artists in the UK and her success has been further amplified with the hugely successful single ‘Dopamine’ alongside German producer Purple Disco Machine, which garnered over 100 million streams and charted in Austria, Belgium, Holland, Poland and Germany where it was also #1 airplay record for four weeks.
Having recently toured with rising pop star L.Devine, Eyelar is set to support UPSAHL on her upcoming European tour in November which will see her perform across Amsterdam, Cologne, Berlin, Milan, Switzerland and Paris.
Eyelar’s new single ‘till you hate me’ is out now and is set to cement her position as one of the most exciting artists to watch in 2022/23.
