Kanye West and Jaden Smith ‘Omniverse’ TV Show

You can say and feel what you like about Kanye West, but there is no denying that he is a man who constantly shows the world that there is nothing impossible to a willing heart and mind. We have seen him prove this through his music and ventures into fashion. This time Kanye is pursuing television with a new TV series about perception which will star Jaden Smith as a younger version of Kanye West.  The show titled ‘Omniverse’ is being developed for US TV network Showtime and it will be a half hour anthology series and Jaden will also executive produce the show through his family’s production company Westbrook Studios.

Of course the icon living, Jaden is not new to the acting world with previous roles in films and TV shows such as The Pursuit of Happyness , The Karate Kid, Netflix anime Neo Yokio and The Get Down ,plus he is not short of a few family members who can assist him should he need the help. His mum’s show ‘Red Table Talk’ is doing well and has featured many people and topics which have influenced conversation off the ‘table’.

Others to work on the show include Writer Lee Sung Jin who is an executive producer on Amazon Prime’s ‘Undone’ and Kanye’s manager, Scooter Braun and his entertainment company SB Projects, as well as Scott Manson and Miguel Melendez who will serve as executive producers.

The first season of the show will explore the ego and will see Smith appear as ‘an alternate reality Kanye West’ as the show ‘examines the many doors of perception’.

Let us know if you will be tuning in.
