Kid Cudi Debuts Long Awaited MOTR Fashion Collection at Paris Fashion Week

Kid Cudi, has officially launched his first fashion collection, MOTR, at Paris Fashion Week. The 38-year-old musician and actor had previously attempted to start his own fashion line around eight years ago but had become discouraged by the process. However, in 2021, while working on a sci-fi film project, he revisited the idea and was influenced by his late friend and collaborator, Virgil Abloh, the founder of Off-White and the artistic director of Louis Vuitton men’s.

The collection features unisex items that push the boundaries of fashion and includes a mix of distressed polos, puffer vests, long tutu skirts, motorcycle jackets, and knitwear and coats inspired by Kurt Cobain and Cudi’s dog. The collection also features a variety of accessories and footwear, including faux fur caps with animal ears, oversized sneakers, and a shoulder bag that resembles a boom box. Cudi aims for the brand to make people feel like superstars and to have the same feeling he gets when he performs at Coachella.

The MOTR fall/winter 2023 lookbook can be found on Instagram.
