Le Coq Sportif collaborates with Stéphane Ashpool for the French Olympic and Paralympic Teams’ Clothing at 2024 Summer Games in Paris

Stéphane Ashpool is now the Artistic Director and Senior Designer for the French Olympic and Paralympic teams’ performance clothing at the Summer Games in Paris in 2024. This marks a significant milestone for the French delegation as they host the Games for the first time since 1924.

Stéphane’s vision for the clothing is inspired by the multiculturalism of the French athletes, reflecting the country’s diversity through a reinterpretation of the tricolor flag with a mixture of hues and languages. The collaboration between the French teams, Stéphane Ashpool, and the French Olympic and Paralympic Committee will see Le Coq Sportif manufacture performance clothing for over 30 Olympic and Paralympic sports, including swimming, tennis, skateboarding, and gymnastics.

The clothing will be mainly produced in France, with a large endowment that will allow them to dress all 4,000 tricolor athletes. This includes a complete locker room to be brought to the Olympic Village during training, official visits, media performances, and medal ceremonies.

Stéphane’s collaboration will cover a wide range of sports for both the Olympics and Paralympics. For the Olympics, he will be working on performance clothing for sports such as rowing, boxing, cycling, fencing, golf, and many more. The Paralympics will also see Stéphane’s collaboration in sports such as wheelchair basketball, para athletics, para swimming, and sitting volleyball.

The appointment of Stéphane Ashpool is an exciting development for the French delegation and the 2024 Summer Games. It promises to bring a fresh and unique perspective to the performance clothing of the French teams, reflecting the diversity of their athletes and the country. We can’t wait to see what the collaboration will produce and wish the French delegation all the best in their preparations for the Games.
