Primark Online Shopping Service on the Horizon?

We can all admit that we are akin to some Primark pieces and over the years the fast fashion retailer has expanded into homeware collections which has made Primark a one-stop shop for a fashionable lifestyle. However, in all these years Primark have not presented us with an online website where we can shop from the comfort of our homes.

Well, we have joyous news for you as Primark have announced they will soon be upgrading their services with a click and collect service to be added to their website shortly. Unfortunately, a home delivery service will not be available as yet but at least you can reserve that cute summer dress or top before it’s sold out and collect it from the store.

Primark remains in the top 20 list of UK retailers and clearly, they must be doing something right if they have managed to remain in that league even without an online shopping service. Primark’s chief executive Paul Marchant told a group of analysts earlier this month that click and collect is “on the horizon,” and added that “even when rolled out, a click-and-collect offering will only drive an incremental benefit for Primark.”

Although there is the ever-growing fear of high street shops closing down, we would still appreciate an online option form Primark. Whether that will threaten the bricks and mortar of all Primarks should their online service improve, is a whole different story.
