The Belles Boys Pass It On

Brighton based Indie quartet Belles release their latest single “Pass It On” produced by Jake Rousham at Metway Studios (Royal Blood, Nick Cave, The Levellers).  This track clearly defines a sound and era for the Belles boys, making them certifiable ones to watch.

Having already received acclaim from the likes of BBC Introducing and Indie Central Music, Belles are undoubtedly proving their talent with anthemic melodies that combine their indie roots with pop sensibilities. Taking inspiration from the likes of Jaws, The Night Café and Inhaler, “Pass It On” moves from strength to strength showing the natural aptitude they have for writing infectiously catchy hooks.

Speaking on the track, frontman George Clark expressed that “Pass It On” means a lot to us as a band. It’s nice to able to reflect upon the fact that the problems we face daily often aren’t as deep as we think. We hope that people listening to the song can share this feeling with us. This was also our first venture into writing a track with a pop direction in mind, which has been a really fun process for us all.”

From the offset, this track bounces and swirls, lulling you into a truly Belles-centic world. There is no doubt that this track will put a spring in your step and have you singing along before you even learn the lyrics. definitely one to add to all your spring playlists, we know we have.
