Demur Magazine -Mind Pollution- Spring/Summer 19

Dear Readers
I am so happy and inspired that it’s even possible that Demur is able to connect with different creatives and cultures on an international level.

When we made the decision to reduce our magazine to just two issues per year, Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter we promised we would not scrimp on quality. In fact, the decision was taken for the simple reason that we wanted to take our time to create a better issue for you each time, an issue that carries value and remains timeless. I can guarantee you this issue will leave you inspired as we delve into the taboo subject of mental health. Photographer Derrick Ofosu Boateng who photographed our front cover talks to us about the lack of opportunity and exposure for African photographers and helps us see Africa through his lenses. If you have always fancied a career in fashion but not been sure where to start, we have some professionals giving you advice on how to get your foot in the door. We talk to a former So Solid Crew member about waking up in Ayia Napa every day and balancing multiple roles as a producer, rapper and entrepreneur.
This should be enough to keep you entertained and out of trouble pending the next issue.
