Khamari Releases Inspiring New Single ‘On My Way’ as He Shares His Journey from Boston to LA

Khamari, a multi-talented artist based in Los Angeles with Boston roots, has just released his latest single “On My Way”. Co-written with Merna Bishouty and produced by Khamari and Trackside, the track features a sample from Al Green’s classic “Love and Happiness” and showcases Khamari’s comforting vocals as he sings about his journey from Boston to LA.

Khamari’s move from Boston to LA during the pandemic inspired the song. The artist shares, “On My Way is a song about my move, my confidence in knowing I was making the right decision starting fresh so I could build something from the ground up.” Khamari’s music is influenced by a range of artists including The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, and Frank Ocean, and has earned him critical acclaim for his debut EP Eldorado.

Khamari’s career began with a trio of Spotify New Music Friday placements, including his single “The Heat” which peaked at #10. He has also been featured on several editorial playlists such as Apple Music FEELS, Amazon’s The New Black and Breakthrough R&B, and was the cover artist for Tidal’s Pop: Rising. With over 10 million cumulative streams in his first three songs, Khamari was nominated for R&B Artist of the Year at the Boston Music Awards.

As he continues to explore the intersection of timeless musicality and contemporary style, Khamari remains committed to creating honest and accessible music. Fans can look forward to more exciting releases from this rising star.
