Meek Mill, 21 Savage, Lil Baby and Lil Durk To Build Their Own Music Streaming Platform

Meek Mill made the announcement on his Twitter as he was seeking for some Silicon Valley techies to help build the app. The digital streaming app will be designed to support artists whilst building black wealth by donating a percentage of the revenue to the artists who stream their music through the platform.

Meek Mill tweeted: “Me lil baby Durkio tryna get somebody in Silicon Valley to build us our own music platform we can be majority owner in! We will pay!! We need top Silicon Valley steppers please! 21 gone link in too we need some app options we looking for the best platform builders!!!! Tryna get started 2021 (sic)”

The app, yet to be named will not be a competitor to other big streaming services such as Apple, Spotify and Tidal, rather it will work together with the other streaming services to promote the work of the artists.
