Milwin Takes Over Our Demur Decks
Milwin is the talented upcoming Swedish DJ and Producer who’s latest single ‘Hostage’ has taken him close to 1 million streams on Spotify and has provided us with the perfect track to dance our way back into the clubs with as we go back to some sort of normality. Milwin’s track ‘New Levels’ with Tobtok, Alfie Cridland and Mila Falls was recently featured on the current series of Love Island.
The gifted artist who longs for a collaboration with Quincy Jones continues his streak of releasing top quality music as his latest track ‘Hostage’ featuring Frida Amundsen who is best known for her 2011 hit ‘Closer’, is set to follow the suit of his previous single ‘Glowing Up’ which marked his biggest release to date.
We passed our Demur Decks to Milwin and let him share with us some of his favourite tracks.
MANGO – KAMAUU feat. Adeline
I got hooked on to this track instantly when I heard it the first time. KAMAUU’s voice and the funkiness is a perfect combination. There’s also a remix of this one with Masego that is also great!
Skaknin’ Sweet – Chronixx’
I’ve always liked Reggae, I mean who doesn’t? ‘Skankin’ Sweet’ is definitely one of the greatest in modern times.
Georgy Porgy – Charme feat Luther Vandross
When Luther Vandross covers ToTo’s ’Georgy Porgy’ you know it will sound amazing. I actually listen to this version more than the original.
Marry Me Just For Fun – Amason
Never getting tired of this one. One of those tracks for the really late nights/early mornings. Amason are one of Sweden’s most underrated bands.
Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood – Santa Esmeralda
Quentin Tarantino made me love this music.
Bennie And The Jets – Elton John
Every time I hear this song, I feel like it’s the 70s and I’m in this stadium drinking beer at an Elton John concert.
Music & Me – Nate Dogg
You can’t listen to anything smoother than this track.
Part Eight – Paul Kalkbrenner
Amazing track with a lot of energy, melodies and feelings.
